Our mission at Bethlehem is for all people to be fully alive in Jesus, and that includes kids! Children are always welcome in worship, and BethlehemKIDS is a time for them to connect with God and each other in fun, interactive, and age-appropriate ways.
Here’s how BethlehemKIDS works! Every Sunday morning during the 9 am or 10:30 am services, kids start in worship with their families until they are dismissed for kids’ church halfway through each service. Then, their small group leaders will guide them from the church lobby to their KIDS space! Located right next to the church sanctuary and nursery, Kids Space A is a treehouse room for kids 3 years-Kindergarten and Kids Space B is a mountain campsite for kids in 1st-4th Grade! There, they’ll get to discover important truths from the Bible: first in a large-group time with skits and games, and then in life-application activities with their grade’s small-group.
As we seek to provide an environment of fun and faith, we also make sure kids are safe. We use an iPad check-in system to print a name tag for the child(ren) and a return tag for parents/caregivers to pick up their kids after the service. Starting 15 minutes before each service begins, families can complete check-in at the iPad stations in the church lobby. Then, halfway through the service, kids will be dismissed to their small group leaders in the church lobby when it’s time for BethlehemKIDS — time for high-energy songs, exciting Bible Buddy characters, fun games with friends, and more as we learn about God’s love together!
