Back-to-school expense can pile up or even sneak up as summer draws closer to an end. Soon stores will be filling up with school supplies. We are seeking to help those who we can in our community. Click and sign up with the button below to register for the Backpack Giveaway.
The backpacks will be in the Commons at Bethlehem Church before the 8:30 am or 10:00 am service on Sunday, August 13th. We also want to extend an invitation for you to join us for service where we will say a special prayer over all the children and new school year at the Annual Backpack Blessings.
We are thrilled to extend a warm invitation to all the families in our community of Lakewood, Colorado and surrounding areas to join us for our annual event designed to kickstart the upcoming school year in the way of blessing. We encourage kids to bring their backpacks and participate in a special blessing. Additionally, each child will receive a gift as a reminder our constant support.
This event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 13th. The blessing time will take place during each of our two services. The first one starting at 8:30 am and the second one at 10:00 am. Our primary hope is to set aside time to ask and remember that Jesus remains at the core of the new school year, guiding and inspiring our children in their academic journey and beyond.
We understand that the start of a new school year can be a challenging time for both parents and children. Therefore, we are excited to extend our support, love, and assistance to the families in the Lakewood community.
