COVID-19 [Coronavirus] Action Plan UPDATE
Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School
“The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer.”- Psalm 18:2
Our ministry team at Bethlehem continues to monitor the Coronavirus [COVID-19]. As the CDC [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] and other government entities update information, we continue to make adjustments to our response.
AS OF NOVEMBER 1ST, WE WILL BE GOING BACK TO OUR REGULAR WORSHIP SCHEDULE:
7:45 AM TRADITIONAL
9:00 AM MILD CONTEMPORARY - SANCTUARY
9:00 AM FAMILY WORSHIP SERVICE - COMMONS
10:30 LIVE BAND
YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THESE SERVICES. REGISTRATION OPENS MONDAYS AT NOON FOR THE FOLLOWING SUNDAY SERVICE. Join us as we meet in person on the sports field and parking lot. Please bring your own chair, keep a reasonable distance from neighboring families, and don your favorite mask! Communion will be offered. PLEASE VISIT THE CHURCH HOMEPAGE FOR MORE INFORMATION.
ONLINE WORSHIP will still continue! You can access the latest sermons on our homepage, or by watching our live stream on Facebook every Sunday at 10:30 am. To see all the different ways in which you can worship during this time, please click HERE.
WE NEED YOU to stay connected to our ministry. We have many staff on our ministry team who depend on your gifts, donations, and support for their livelihood. Our mission of reaching people with fullness of life in Jesus is also still on the front burner. There are several options for you to continue your financial support of our work together. We can help set you up on ACH for automatic withdrawal giving. Call the church office for the form. If you go to our website’s main page, on the far right there is an option to “Support the Ministry.” In addition, we have a brand NEW avenue for your convenience. The ability to text your gift or submit through the “GIVE PLUS” mobile app is now available. Click HERE for instructions on how to do so.
Some of you may be more comfortable mailing a check. Thank you for what you can do to keep the ministry of Bethlehem going during these challenging times. Especially in times like this, people need the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Other Ministries – As stated, all onsite group activities and ministries have been suspended. The church office will remain open.
The Table – We have started offering meals, at 6 pm every Thursday evening. There is a worship service in the building at 6:30 pm. Continue to pray for the means to provide this blessing to our Bethlehem family living on “the edge.”
OUR PROMISE TO YOU – We are living in unprecedented times. This is a very fluid situation. Our promise to you is to be timely in our responses and action plans. We will be honest with you about the reality of our situation. We will be unabashedly hopeful of how our awesome God is working in all this. The Lord is our rock, our fortress, and our deliverer!
