COVID-19 UPDATES

Please continue to visit this page for updates

Earlier this week the Jefferson County Public Health Department issued a Public Health order requiring masks at all indoor public gatherings. Because of this, our annual Christmas Concert on Dec. 12th has been cancelled and replaced with our normal Sunday morning worship schedule of 7:45am, 9:00am, and 10:30am.

As we have throughout the pandemic, we are following the directives of the local government and seeking to love our broader community by doing our part to slow the spread of the virus so that hospitals can have capacity to help those who need it. To read the full public health order, please click HERE.

We realize there may not be 100% agreement on these decisions.  However, we encourage everyone to process disagreements in a spirit of Christian love and patience.  We will continue to evaluate our practices against the metric of serving the Gospel of Jesus Christ in responsible Christian love.

WE ARE BACK TO OUR REGULAR WORSHIP SCHEDULE:

7:45 AM TRADITIONAL

9:00 AM MILD CONTEMPORARY - SANCTUARY

9:00 AM FAMILY WORSHIP SERVICE - COMMONS

10:30 LIVE BAND

Communion will be offered. PLEASE VISIT THE CHURCH HOMEPAGE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

ONLINE WORSHIP will still continue! To see all the different ways in which you can worship during this time, please click HERE.

WE NEED YOU to stay connected to our ministry. We have many staff on our ministry team who depend on your gifts, donations, and support for their livelihood. Our mission of reaching people with fullness of life in Jesus is also still on the front burner. There are several options for you to continue your financial support of our work together. We can help set you up on ACH for automatic withdrawal giving. Call the church office for the form. If you go to our website’s main page, on the far right there is an option to “Support the Ministry.” In addition, we have a brand NEW avenue for your convenience. The ability to text your gift or submit through the “GIVE PLUS” mobile app is now available. Click HERE for instructions on how to do so.

Some of you may be more comfortable mailing a check. Thank you for what you can do to keep the ministry of Bethlehem going during these challenging times. Especially in times like this, people need the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Other Ministries – As stated, all onsite group activities and ministries have been suspended. The church office will remain open.

The Table – We have started offering meals, at 6 pm every Thursday evening. There is a worship service in the building at 6:30 pm. Continue to pray for the means to provide this blessing to our Bethlehem family living on “the edge.”

OUR PROMISE TO YOU – We are living in unprecedented times. This is a very fluid situation. Our promise to you is to be timely in our responses and action plans. We will be honest with you about the reality of our situation. We will be unabashedly hopeful of how our awesome God is working in all this. The Lord is our rock, our fortress, and our deliverer!
