WORSHIP ARTS DIRECTOR:

Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School is currently seeking a Worship Arts Director who has the heart and passion to lead and create a worship experience connected to God’s presence.  This is a unique opportunity to utilize your musical gifts and talents in a leadership setting. 

POSITION PURPOSE:

The primary responsibility of the Worship Arts Director is to produce all worship services at Bethlehem Lutheran Church across all venues, including contemporary and traditional worship.  This person will continuously elevate worship by resourcing, encouraging, recruiting and developing worship leaders.

SUPERVISION RESPONSIBLITIES:

Supervises the work of the Assistant Director of Worship Arts .  Also oversees volunteers within the area of worship arts, including, ensemble directors, audio video teams, screen presentation teams, sound technicians, band members (Table and Sunday), and set teams

MINIMUM EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Prefer a person who is very familiar with sound equipment and has the leadership necessary to recruit, train, and work with musicians and artists of all kinds.  Prefer college education, but most necessary is the giftedness to work closely with teams, communicate well, and lead with excellence.

Accountant Position:

Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School is seeking an individual who is joyful and passionate about Accounting in a Christian setting. We are looking for someone with a caring heart and excellent attention to detail. This is a rewarding position working in a collaborative environment with senior church leadership, church staff, and school personnel.  If you love sharing your faith, as well as numbers this is the place for you! 

Job Description

This position is responsible for general accounting operations for Bethlehem.  This includes maintaining the general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, credit card management, deposits, some accounts receivables, and accounting needs for school lunch program. This position will assist with the preparation of financial reports, annual budget and audit schedules.  This person is also responsible for outside relationships including vendors, grant making organizations and ShelbyNext software, as well as job related internal communication with staff, school personnel and treasurer.  Provide backup for School Billing and Payroll. 

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • BA/BS Accounting degree  
  • Three to five years of relevant accounting experience 
  • Nonprofit experience preferred

ECT Lead Teacher

Bethlehem Early Learning Center is looking for a Lead teacher with a great love for Jesus, that will provide a warm, nurturing, and accepting environment for young children and their families. You will collaborate with supportive staff to establish developmentally appropriate classrooms, create activities and lesson plans that foster discovery of God’s gifting for each child, and apply your personal gifts and talents to share with a community of believers. Requirements:

-Be able to work Monday through Friday

-Be able to work 12 months a year

-Early Childhood Teacher qualified through education and experience in the Early Childhood field

-Be able to meet the State of Colorado 7.712.42 age and training regulations

Physical Education Teacher, K-8 -Part time

Bethlehem Lutheran School is seeking an individual who is joyful and passionate about teaching Physical Education to young children in a Christian setting. If you love sharing your faith, as well as being active, movement, and health and want to share this passion with students in our K-8 program, then this is the place for you!  

Job Description:  Essential functions and responsibilities would be teaching Physical Education to K-8. Creating, implementing, and fostering a positive faith-based learning environment by facilitating and delivering physical education instruction. Our goal is to provide an excellent education that is traditional, faith-based, rigorous, enriching, and fun!

Qualifications:

Teaching Certification - required

Experience - preferred

Performance Tasks:

Teaches assigned classes utilizing curriculum adopted by school and provides other appropriate learning activities.

Develops lesson plans and instructional materials based on curriculum and state standards.

Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior and good citizenship needed to achieve a conducive learning atmosphere in the classroom. Communicates challenging scholastic expectations in a clear, positive, continuous manner.

Evaluate student academic growth, keep appropriate records, and communicate progress with parents.

Provides a safe environment for learning.  Establishes and maintains standards of mutually respectful behavior.

Demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships with students, educational staff, and parents.

Bethlehem Early Learning Center (ELC) preschool needs staff with a great love of Jesus, that will provide a warm, nurturing, and accepting environment for young children and their families.  You will collaborate with supportive staff to establish developmentally appropriate classrooms, create activities that foster discovery of God’s gifting for each child, and apply your personal gifts and talents to share with a community of believers.  If you love working with Pre-K kids please apply!

Full time positions and part time positions over 20 hours per week qualify for tuition discounts for our K-8 school and Early Learning Center preschool. 

Requirements:

  • Be able to work Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • Meet education &/or experience requirements for ELC Lead Teacher or ELC Assistant Teacher
  • Be able to meet the State of Colorado 7.712.42 age and training regulations.

ChildWatch Staff needed for After School program – Job Posting


Bethlehem K-8 school needs Lead Staff to support its afterschool program.  If you like working with kids, helping them with homework, or just helping them have fun and wind down after a busy day in the classroom we would like you to join our team!
