ABOUT BETHLEHEM LUTHERAN SCHOOL
For more than 80 years, Bethlehem Lutheran School has had the privilege of providing a dynamic Christ-centered education to children of many ages to cultivate a love of the Lord combined with an accelerated curriculum that prepares them for life beyond 8th grade. We are accredited by the National Lutheran School Accreditation team and are affiliated with the National Junior Honors Society.
Bethlehem Lutheran School was voted the Top Private School in 2018 by Colorado Parent and was ranked the Best Summer Camp in Lakewood in 2017.
What started as a one-room schoolhouse has grown into a comprehensive campus that includes a large gymnasium, 9 ELC classrooms, 11 classrooms for K-8 and 7 classrooms available to middle school students.
Students have regular access to a fully stocked art room, a music room equipped with a variety of instruments and a modern science lab. The campus also houses a large library with reading materials for all age levels, a cafeteria, a rotating computer cart, interactive white boards in every K-8 classroom, student iPads and a STEM cart. With art, music, PE and computer teachers, as well as a reading specialist, Bethlehem currently uses its many resources to serve children ages 2 years through 8th grade.
In addition to an outstanding accelerated education, here’s what you can expect your child to receive as a student at Bethlehem Lutheran School:
HISTORY OF BETHLEHEM LUTHERAN SCHOOL
Bethlehem Lutheran School opened its doors in 1940 with the goal of providing an exemplary Lutheran education in keeping with the church’s tradition. While the campus and the teachers have changed since that first class, one thing remains the same; the dedication to preparing children ages 2 through 8th grade to reach their God-given potential.
