Philosophy
The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod believes education should address the whole person - body, mind and spirit - beginning in early childhood and continuing through higher education.
Through early childhood programs, elementary schools and high schools, the congregations of the LCMS are dedicated to providing a solid Lutheran Christian education for our children by operating the largest Protestant parochial school system in America.

Bethlehem Lutheran School provides a Christ-centered environment of academic excellence that prepares students as faithful Christians to reach their God-given potential.
What is important for you when picking the right school?
Bethlehem Lutheran School is fully-accredited by National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA).

Bethlehem Lutheran School provides a Christ-centered environment of academic excellence that prepares students as faithful Christians to reach their God-given potential. Our teachers differentiate instruction to best meet the needs of each student. One way this can occur is through an invitation from the school for advanced placement in mathematics.
Bethlehem Lutheran Church began in the 1930’s and those founding members felt so strongly about raising their children in the faith, that Bethlehem Lutheran School first opened its doors in 1940.
Join this long-standing tradition of faith-filled academic excellence!
“The Bethlehem family of ministries exists to encourage, equip, and empower people to me Spirit-led champions, unleashing each person’s leadership calling in their circle of influence, so all can be fully alive in Jesus.” - Bethlehem Vision Statement
Bethlehem Lutheran School and Early Learning Center are one of the three key environments of the Bethlehem Family of Ministries, with worship and discipleship being the other two. This means that everything we do at Bethlehem is centered around our amazing God who wants as many people as possible to experience fullness of life in Jesus!
Subjects in the curriculum of Bethlehem Lutheran School are presented in the context of a Christian perspective and are supplemented by regular instruction in Biblical teachings and Lutheran doctrine.
Subject areas include religion, reading, language arts, spelling, mathematics, social studies, science, physical education, art, music, foreign language, and computer. Confirmation instruction occurs in the seventh and eighth grades.
Our academics meet - and often exceed - Colorado state standards while at the same time our faith beliefs are integrated into each subject area. Students gain a solid foundation in both academics and their faith walk during their years at Bethlehem. Therefore, BLS students are well-equipped to use the truth of God’s Word in conjunction with the intellectual knowledge they acquire as guiding principles for their life.
