ADMISSIONS: NEED-TO-KNOW INFO

ADMISSIONS PROCESS: Overview

• Admission at Bethlehem Lutheran School is a privilege.

• Bethlehem Lutheran School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to its students. Bethlehem Lutheran School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin in administration of educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletic, and other school-administered programs.

• Students may be admitted any time during the school year if space is available and all requirements from Admission Policy Regulations are met.

• Applicants are admitted on the basis of space availability, the child’s ability to benefit from our education program, and the spiritual guidance our faculty and staff provides.

• Bethlehem Lutheran School has limited facility and personnel resources to serve children with special needs. Students with special needs that cannot be served through existing Bethlehem programs may be denied enrollment, or enrollment may be discontinued in order to encourage enrollment at a school that can provide an appropriate program.

• Bethlehem Lutheran School cares for children ages 2-years old through Eighth Grade.

• Children may be enrolled in the ELC beginning at age two.

• Children three and older are required to be potty-trained in order to enroll.

• To enter Kindergarten, a child must be 5-years old on or before October 1st, and shown to be developmentally ready.

• For First Grade, a child must be 6-years old on or before October 1st.
